Wireless Switching Checklist
Use this before starting a carrier change.
- List every phone number being moved.
- Record each device model and IMEI if needed.
- Check whether each phone is unlocked.
- Review remaining device balances.
- Back up important device data.
- Gather account number and transfer/security PIN information.
- Compare total cost for all lines.
- Review promotion and trade-in requirements.
- Keep existing service active until instructed otherwise during transfer.
